A Life Update:
This post is going to explain the start of my blogging adventure. First off, if you just started following me you might think that I live in Naples, Florida (I WISH). Kidding…I am super proud to be Canadian! When my boyfriend and I first started thinking about planning this trip the restrictions in Canada were getting more intense and we weren’t ready for our summer to come to an end. We still wanted to make some exciting memories during 2020 (safely of course). We decided to book a lengthy trip down to Florida to enjoy the warm weather a little longer. Usually we do a few road trips to Orlando and Miami while we are down here but we’ve put those types of excursions on hold until the future. For now we are really enjoying the pool, beach and local activities.
Unfortunately we will have to quarantine for 2 weeks when we get back but it will definitely be worth it seeing as we are here for 7 weeks. I’m sure everyone feels their year was robbed from them in one way or another so this was our way of taking it back. We love coming down here every few months and we hadn’t been to Florida for around 10 months prior to this trip! We are still working full-time while being down here but being able to do it poolside is something I can’t complain about!
New Beginnings- The Start of My Blogging Adventure:
I truly find being in Florida such a huge source of happiness and inspiration. I have finally decided to start taking blogging and Instagram more seriously. This has been a dream of mine for a long time and I can’t wait to see it grow into the potential I know that it has.
The photo of me below is actually the one I used for my first brand partnership with a jewelry brand called Ana Luisa. It meant the world to me when they reached out. I don’t have a massive following yet but they believed in me to represent their brand. That support truly gave me the push to just do this thing!
I’ve always loved sharing my life with others and I hope you enjoy experiencing it with me. I like sharing my favourite places, products and everything in between (see my favourite makeup products that I used in today’s post HERE).
The online world is a place filled with so much opportunity and I’m glad I am finally stepping into the unknown. The hardest thing to do in regards to a new project is to just START. It might be messy and imperfect but you’ll be happy to just get it going and learn along the way. So THANK YOU for coming on this journey with me. I so so appreciate it.

I have to let you know that I had absolutely no WordPress experience going into this journey. With some perseverance and many hours of work and writing: “Petite Sweet Dreams” came to be!
Hopefully this post motivates you to unapologetically do more of what makes YOU happy. This is YOUR life to live. Anyone who isn’t cheering you on from the sidelines doesn’t have a place in your life. Do what authentically feels good for you and chase your dreams every damn day. I believe in you!
