Hello! I just wanted to come on here and give you some details about my bridesmaids proposal event. There was a ton of interest in the location, my bridesmaids proposal boxes and the decor so I’ll be sharing all of that information with you in this post! I actually did two TikToks about my bridesmaids proposal event and one of them went viral with over 2.1M+ views! You can watch them HERE and HERE.
BRIDESMAIDS PROPOSAL VENUE:
First off, I just want to thank Velve Beauty for allowing me to host my event at their salon. It was seriously the most perfect location for my bridesmaids and I. We loved all the girly touches. They do allow people to rent out their space for a fee for small events, photoshoots etc. If you are interested in Velve then you can contact them at bridal@velve.ca for more information.
BRIDESMAIDS PROPOSAL BOXES:
My acrylic bridesmaids proposal boxes were from Blushin’ Gifts. These were super chic and I loved that they provided a sneak peek at the items. I topped them with a transfer decal with each of their names. I then filled the boxes with multiple items that I thought my girls would love. Some of these items were kindly gifted by brands which was amazing! I’ll link all of the items below.

DÉCOR:
I spent a lot of time dreaming up ideas on how to decorate the salon to add some personal touches. I’ll share all the links to those details below.

FOOD:
The food was all brought in by us. Samantha (my best friend & maid of honour) kindly put together all of the charcuterie boards. She did an amazing job! The naked cake was made by my talented mom and the cake topper was made with a Cricut by Samantha! All of the custom sugar cookies were from Little Rose Cookie Co. Lastly, we also had some mimosas which were a lovely touch. I was super happy with how it all turned out!
OUTFIT, HAIR & MAKEUP:
Now I’ll go into the details about my outfit, hair and makeup. There was a lot of interest in my white bow dress in particular. The dress is by a brand called Nookie and I bought it from Revolve. I got my feather heels from Lulus. These were adorable, comfortable and definitely complimented the outfit. My hair and makeup was done by the talented Bianca Minghella Beauty. I’ve been using Bianca for all of my event hair and makeup for several years now and she never disappoints!
Lastly, thank you so much to all of my bridesmaids who have helped shape who I am over the years. I hope you felt my gratitude at the bridesmaids proposal event. Each of you hold a special place in my heart and I just can’t say “I do” without YOU!
